Roundtable Commissioner

Roundtable is the place to interact with the District leadership, pick up or drop off important stuff,
complete training courses, find out about upcoming events, and to meet fellow Scouters from other units
and make new friends and contacts.
Who? All Scout Leaders and interested Parents are encouraged to attend. Every unit has a
Commissioner assigned to them for assistance and support.
The following is a proposed schedule for Round table events. We're volunteer run so last minute scheduling changes can occur up to a few days before the Roundtable meeting night so check back for the latest details on breakouts and training being offered.
Roundtable April 10, 2008
Roundtable is the place to interact with the District leadership, pick up or drop off important stuff,
complete training courses, find out about upcoming events, and to meet fellow Scouters from other units
and make new friends and contacts.
Who? All Scout Leaders and interested Parents are encouraged to attend. Every unit has a
Commissioner assigned to them for assistance and support.
Why? Roundtable provides morale, enthusiasm, inspiration, and vision, renewing our
desire to serve youth. Roundtable provides skills, techniques, information, and program ideas
the know-how that makes for successful unit operation.
When? Every 2nd Thursday, August through June
- 7:15 Collect material, handouts and information. Meet your Commissioner.
- 7:30 Roundtable begins at 7:30 SHARP!
- 7:45 Training breakouts begin
- 8:00 Breakout Sessions (10 to 60 minutes, depending on the program)
Where? Social Hall, LDS Church, 23 Lake Street , Irvine (Culver to Alton -South. Alton to Lake Street East,
Brick building on North side of Street)
