Great outings and places for Boy Scouts
Philmont Trek
There are openings available on a Philmont Trek organized by Troop 106 which is currently made up of T106, T6 and mostly 14 yr old scouts. They’re planning an easy 50 miler over nearly 2 weeks. Fees are $540 + transport costs. Trek dates are July 29 to Aug 10 with a day or two on each end for travel. Brochures are available. The opportunity to attend a trek is by lottery and the waiting list is over 100 – if you ever thought about going – this is it!
